You forgot to add the US and US-backed Israel to your list of psycho serial killers...

Comparing the ethics of Israel to that of the only country to have deployed 2 nuclear bombs (needlessly) against civilians in a show of force I think does more to highlight the depravity of the warlike mindset of the US Empire and its client states like Israel, than to prove any sort of moral high ground.

Yes, the US perfected the horrific slaughter and aerial indiscriminate bombardment of civilians in WW2, then continued this saga throughout Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, etc. The US employed other horrors like Napalm and Agent Orange as well. Claiming that Israel is merely doing the same thing I don't think makes the point you think it makes in Israel's defense.

Your comparisons of Gaza to WW2 Japan and Germany are... comical. Gaza is nothing like Imperial Japan or Nazi Germany in WW2. Gaza does not have a conventional Army, Navy or Air Force, or sovereign territory to defend. It's not even a sovereign, independent country with control of its own borders (which Israel controls). Gaza does not have the capabilities to invade and occupy neighboring countries like Poland. It does not have the capability to launch aircraft-carrier-based naval attacks against other countries.

Most importantly, it does not run large-scale detention or concentration camps within the territories it occupies. In fact, the comparison is more apt when reversed. Gaza is in fact akin to a large prison or camp controlled by Israel. Israel is the superior military force, and thus is the oppressor, regardless of whether or not Hamas is able to conduct sporadic terrorist attacks, and that's about it. This is a tactic of desperation. You're actually giving Hamas far too much credit comparing them to the Axis powers who possessed large conventional militaries. You know who does posses a large conventional military, backed by the US? Israel. I think Israel is more like Germany or Japan in your analogy.

By talking like this, you're making a very comical attempt to try to cast Israel as the poor, little victim when it absolutely is not. It is the military superpower in the region that controls everything. It controls Palestinian lives in the occupied areas too. The events of October 7 did nothing to change this reality. There's a whole history leading up to October 7 as well. History did not begin on October 7. Have you heard of the Nakba, for example?

You state: "The only option Israel has is do to Gaza what America did to Germany and Japan during WWII, and then hope that the surviving men of Gaza make better choices."

Continuing with the WW2 analogy, I'm curios: Did the surviving Jewish men of Poland make 'better choices' after the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising?

What you're advocating for in this hilariously-named 'Non-Violence' blog is an imperialist 'might is right' mindset that is completely devoid of nuance, or the role Zionist ideology of seizing land from people that were already living on it played in the conflict.

Your nation-building idea is just a further manifestation of this Zionist/Imperialist mindset, arrogantly suggesting that it is the Israeli schools that should indoctrinate the children. What you're describing is 're-education' camps similar to what the Chinese impose on the Uighurs and the irony here is German Nazis proposed 'solutions' like this for the 'Jewish Problem' to try to force them to assimilate more completely into German society and abandon their 'Jewishness' and traditions before ultimately settling on the concentration/death camps as the horrific 'final solution'.
