Judging from the videos online, it seems to be the foreign Israeli tourist hooligans predominately the ones instigating trouble and prowling the streets with makeshift poles and clubs they've vandalized from scaffolding and terrorizing the locals with. I don't understand why I'm supposed to cry for them like I'm being told to now by those trying to defend their atrocious behavior.

But this is fanatical Zionism/nationalism on display in a nutshell: playing the victim even while engaged in the most atrocious behavior with little or no consequences, then blaming the actual victims for the crisis.
