I'm curious if all those who were on the receiving end of various crusades and inquisitions and imperial conquest throughout history by those with large crosses on their tunics would agree with this sentiment.

Or the child soldiers of Kony's Lord Resistance Army in Africa. Or the homosexuals executed in Uganda which adheres to a strict Fundamentalist Christian penal code.
