Great point. In fact, in the spirit of the author of this ridiculous article, I too have decided to determine the horror of an atrocity by a simple formula that calculates the total number killed vs the population of that country.

1151 killed by Hamas on October 7 is like 000000122% of the ~9.354 million population of Israel.

So.. yeah, according to the author's logic, no big deal at all. It was an incredibly humanitarian attack. In fact, Hamas had the courtesy and decency to spare the large population centers like Tel Aviv from destruction. So really, we should be giving them peace medals according to this logic.
